ABOUT ZAIA ENERGY WORKS
The name Zaia (pronounced like Maya with a Z) was a gift from my Spirit. Meaning “light,” I understand it as my spiritual connection powered by feminine divine energy. An interesting juxtaposition with my given name, Melanie, which means “dark,” it is a beautiful balancing of the two energies.
My extensive training is based in Ancient Mystery School techniques, practiced around the world for centuries; the foundation for this work is about creating healthy, vibrant energy fields. These specific tools are taught in the U.S. by Intuitive Mind in Tacoma, WA by Nancy Rebecca and Yvonne Kilcup. I have achieved the level of psychic master and continue to hone my skills with advanced training.
I am also a certified practitioner in shamanic healing from The Four Winds Society which deepened my healing skills — mind, body, and spirit in alignment with the Indigenous practices and the natural world. I have additional training in Quantum healings.
The power of this energy work is the true intention for each individual to connect with her, his, or their own inner wisdom. I believe it is an opportunity — and an invitation — to make and deepen connections to how your own "energy works."
Find your light. My approach encourages development of your personal connection to your spirit, your soul, your inner voice, your divinity within … your intuition. However you choose to call it, this connection will set free your ability to go through your daily life in a manner that with more clarity and with the ability to find your own inner peace. ABOUT ME
My spirituality has transformed my day-to-day living and my relationships in many meaningful ways. Mine was a journey that began more than two decades ago with the sudden passing of my beloved father a few weeks before my 30th birthday. It was then that I began to truly sense there was a deeper connection within us all. Through the years, and through this work, I found ways to come to closer to my personal, experiential alignment with that truth.
A native New Yorker, I called Raleigh, NC home for more than 20 years. I have followed the callings of my spirit and moved to West to Tacoma, WA in 2019 and most recently, to Los Angeles — both times answering the call to grow and evolve in the sharing of my spiritual capabilities. I am on the Board of Directors, and former Executive Director of Soul Seeds, a nonprofit that brings specific meditation techniques that help individuals cope with anxiety, stress, and trauma to communities that have historically been excluded. I am also the proud mother of adult identical twin sons who have inspired my sense of adventure and encouraged the pursuit of my dream of helping to heal the world by healing myself and assisting others to find their own light and their own connections to their innate wisdom.
As we heal ourselves, we raise our personal vibrations and the healing vibrations that go out into the world. I do this work with the deepest of gratitude to my Spirit, my Ancestors, and my clients — and to you — with the intention of expanding the healing power of love energy to all.
